Osun Amotekun apprehends three burglars in action, recovers stolen items
The Amotekun Corps in Osun State has detained three individuals linked to a string of suspected burglaries at the well-known Atakumosa Market.This information was shared in a statement released by Mr. Yusuf Abass, the Public Relations Officer of the corps, on Thursday in Osogbo.
According to the statement, the three suspects, aged between 18 and 22 years, were apprehended by the security personnel after receiving a tip-off.
According to Abass, the suspects were apprehended while they were in the act of committing the crime.
He mentioned that the suspects subsequently guided Amotekun corps personnel to their hideout, where a variety of stolen goods, including electronics, household items, construction materials, groceries, and beverages, were discovered.
Abass reiterated the agency’s dedication to ensuring the safety of residents and their property in the state.
He encouraged residents throughout the state to stay alert and report any suspicious activities to the closest Amotekun command or other relevant security agencies.
