The international footballer took to her Instagram stories to post a picture of herself alongside her friend Diana Ordonez, using the word 'husband' in the caption. The caption read, "Happy us over them day...to my husband."

This post stirred considerable reactions on the social media platform, X, with many users questioning her sexual orientation, and some even labeling her as a lesbian.

In response to the commotion, Alozie shared a post from Ordonez on X, in which Ordonez stated, "You guys can stop reaching now, we like boys, and I'm out here looking for my husband."

Alozie further clarified her stance by stating, "I like guys. lol. relax."

She went on to emphasize, "I promise you there are more important issues to discuss in the world than my sexuality."
