Emmanuel Dennis is on the verge of departing Nottingham Forest for a move to Turkey

Nigerian forward Emmanuel Dennis is poised to depart Nottingham Forest, an English Premier League side, for a club in the Turkish Super Lig.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano revealed on Tuesday via X (formerly Twitter) that Dennis is now in the final stages of deciding on the transfer.

"Emmanuel Dennis has made up his mind to join a Turkish club—he's close to leaving Nottingham Forest," Romano stated. "Adana Demirspor and Istanbul Başakşehir have both submitted loan offers with full salary coverage. Dennis will make his final decision soon."

Romano also noted that CSKA Moscow from Russia expressed interest in signing Dennis, but they were unsuccessful in their pursuit.

Dennis may soon embark on his third consecutive summer transfer move before the current transfer window in Turkey closes.

Reports have consistently linked the forward with an exit from Forest, where he has struggled to secure playing time. Forest secured Dennis in a £20 million deal during the summer of 2022 after Watford's relegation to the SkyBet Championship.

This came after he had made a significant impact for the Hornets, tallying 10 goals and providing six assists in 33 Premier League appearances during the 2021/22 season.

Expectations were high that Dennis could replicate these impressive numbers for Forest, but unfortunately, that didn't materialize.

Dennis only secured six league starts last season and accumulated a mere 715 minutes of playing time in the Premier League.
