Desailly Warns Chelsea's Caicedo After Tough Premier League Debut

Marcel Desailly, the former Chelsea defender, has sounded a warning for the club's high-priced acquisition, Moises Caicedo, in light of his challenging debut performance against West Ham United in a recent Premier League fixture.

Desailly advised Caicedo to make necessary adjustments, demonstrate unwavering commitment, and adopt a mindset geared towards securing victories for Chelsea in the future.

The ex-defender emphasized that Caicedo, who recently transferred to Chelsea from Brighton, must undergo a significant attitude transformation to unlock his potential and meet the expectations inherent in representing a prominent club like Chelsea.

Former Chelsea defender, Marcel Desailly has fired a warning to the club’s record signing Moises Caicedo following his awful debut against West Ham United in a Premier League tie last weekend.

Desailly said Caicedo needs to adjust, be committed and put in a match winning mindset for Chelsea going forward.

According to him, Caicedo, who joined Chelsea from Brighton this summer, needs a major shift in attitude if he is to fulfil his potential and meet the demands of playing for a ‘big club’ like the Blues.

“You don’t need to talk about it. We better start to put the mindset into the system, you need to adjust your implication,” Desailly told Sky Sports.

“You are in a big club now! And in a big club you need to prepare yourself much better for each game.

“Now you digest the idea of £100m and you are now back home you need to be committed.”
