In a statement issued on Friday by the President's Special Adviser (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, President Bola Tinubu has granted approval for the appointment of new Chief Executive Officers for various agencies and parastatals operating under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment. This move aligns with Tinubu's commitment to fostering Nigeria's economic resurgence by focusing on trade expansion through the facilitation of small, medium, and large-scale industries in the country.
These appointments are effective immediately.

President Bola Tinubu has made the following appointments to head various agencies under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment:

Afiz Ogun Oluwatoyin - Industrial Training Fund
Kamar Bakrin - National Sugar Development Council
Olufemi Ogunyemi - Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority
Nonye Ayeni - Nigeria Export Promotion Council
Aisha Rimi - Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission
Bamanga Usman Jada - Oil & Gas Free Zone Authority
Charles Odii - Small & Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria
Ifeanyi Chukwunonso Okeke - Standards Organisation of Nigeria
Rabiu Olowo - Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria
Anthony Atuche, CFA - Nigeria Commodities Exchange
Veronica Safiya Ndanusa - Lagos International Trade Fair Complex
Lucia Shittu - Tafawa Balewa Square Management Board
Oluwemimo Joseph Osanipin - National Automotive Design and Development Council
These appointments are effective immediately.
The statement also emphasized that "President Bola Tinubu anticipates that all newly appointed individuals in this vital sector will perform exceptionally, adhering to the new key performance indicators established by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment."
