Johnson of NNPP: Describes Mutfwang Decision as Judicial Rascality, Expresses Loss of Confidence in

The National Auditor of the New Nigerian People's Party (NNPP), Ladipo Johnson, has expressed his views on the recent sack of Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State by the Court of Appeal. Governor Mutfwang is the third opposition governor to be sacked by the Court of Appeal within three days.

In response to the court's decision, Johnson characterized the verdict as part of the "judicial rascality that is unfolding." He went on to state that the All Progressives Congress (APC) has a long way to go before it can impose itself on Nigerians.

During an interview with Punch, Johnson expressed concern about the recent judgments from the judiciary, describing them as troubling. He emphasized that even if the court's decisions are not attempts to impose the APC on Nigerians, the impact could be significant. However, he believes that the APC has a long way to go in forcing itself on Nigerians because the People's Democratic Party (PDP) holds many states.

Johnson also highlighted his lack of confidence in the judiciary and expressed hope that the Supreme Court would provide clarity on these issues and follow its established precedent.
