Nigeria desperately needs to start using her burgeoning oil stocks to start manufacturing synthetic facemasks and similar products

By Ayo Akinfe

As nobody is interested in buying our crude oil anymore, the only thing we can do with it is start the mass manufacturing a raft of synthetic products and seek to export them.

Our production list should look something like this:

(1) Facemasks
(2) Food containers and bowls
(3) Buckets
(4) Shoes
(5) Handbags
(6) Household accessories
(7) TV cases
(8) Mobile phone casing
(9) Automobile body parts
(10) Rubber products like tyres and gloves
