The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, extended a courtesy visit to the National Assembly. On Thursday, he shared via his official X handle that he met with the Chairmen of the Senate and House Committees on Aviation, Senator Buhari Abdulfatai and Hon. Peter Akpatason. The minister expressed having fruitful discussions with the lawmakers on matters concerning the progress of the Aviation sector. Check out the photos below.

In a separate event, Keyamo toured Caverton Helicopters in Lagos State. In a post from his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle last Sunday, he mentioned inspecting the company's state-of-the-art Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility. Keyamo disclosed that one of the ministry's goals is to support and promote local operators. Additionally, he shared taking a crash course in piloting a helicopter using the company's modern helicopter simulator.
