Another Remarkable Achievement: Nigerian Achieves a New Guinness World Record
A Nigerian man named Tonye Solomon has achieved a remarkable Guinness World Record for climbing the most steps on a ladder while skillfully balancing a football on his head. Guinness World Records made this announcement via its website on Wednesday.
Solomon accomplished this feat by ascending a radio mast with a total of 150 ladder steps. Guinness World Records acknowledged his achievement with the statement: "New record: Most steps climbed on a ladder while balancing a football on the head – 150 by Tonye Solomon (Nigeria)."
Prior to this accomplishment, Solomon had already completed an impressive 60 km journey from Amassoma to Yenagoa while balancing a football on his head, according to Guinness World Records. He achieved this feat in August.
Solomon dedicated two months of intensive training, utilizing all of his available free time for practice. He pursued this record-setting challenge not only to test his own limits but also to inspire and motivate others to pursue great achievements.
During his record attempt, Solomon exhibited incredible composure as he scaled the steep ladder, completing the ascent in just 12.5 minutes. Upon reaching the top of all 150 steps, he jubilantly threw the football down and celebrated with an exuberant fist pump.
Solomon expressed his gratitude, saying, "It wasn't easy," and extended thanks to the Nigerian Civil Defense Bayelsa State Command for granting him access to their facility for this remarkable achievement.
