With stars flying in from across the globe there is only one place to be this Saturday (May 13) and that’s the One Africa Music Fest at the SSE Arena Wembley. It’s the hottest ticket in town. Stars scheduled to perform at what is Europe’s biggest ever Afrobeats’ and Afropop festival have started to touchdown at Heathrow.
Newly betrothed film and music star, and host for the biggest Afrobeats’ event ever to be staged in Europe, Banky W was first to step off the 6am plane from Lagos on May 10, alongside Cassper Novest, Victoria Kimani and Falz and their respective management teams.
Other stars performing at the One Africa Music Fest jetted in later, including Ghana’s biggest rap superstar Sarkodie, Congelese legend Awilo as well as 9ice and Atumpan.
More stars expected to arrive in the UK over the next couple of days include Jidenna, Davido, Tekno, P-Square, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Alikiba, Flavour N’abania, with Phyno and M.I.
Saturday’s One Africa Music Fest is set to be one of the biggest and most exciting concerts to ever hit the UK. But before that fans have the opportunity to meet and greet the artist ahead of the monumental event at the One Africa Artist Welcome Party & Fashion Event taking place onFriday May 12 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Park Lane, Mayfair.
