In the matches against Senegal on March 23 and Bukina Faso on March 27 in London, Super Eagles players and officials should forget earning match bonuses or appearance fees for these double warm up matches.
The Nigerian Football Federation will only reimburese daily allowances, estacodes and transport of the participating players and officials during the ties.
This is a foreign practice from the usual regimen where both players and officials recieve match appearance fees speculated at about $2000 depending on the match grade.
The NFF disclosed that the cut back was prompted due the the federation’s budget and the reduction of its monthly subsidy which was not foreseen.
The organisers refuse to give details of the deal to the matches. They are still putting things together. Tickets for both matches went on sale on Wednesday, 01 March, 2017.
Prices are £10 fo adults and £5 for juniors.
