London – Henry Esin, 27-year-old is an Amateur Nigerian footballer who has been stabbed to death at Welsh Night Club. He was found outside Peep Nightclub in Bangor by police on Saturday.
He was rushed to Stoke Hospital and received treatment from their special trauma unit where he was pronounced dead on Sunday.
A 26-year-old man from Bangor were arrested by police and they are encouraging anyone with information to assist the investigation.
“Police need the support of the community and we urge everyone who witnessed this incident or its immediate aftermath to come forward – whether they consider they saw an incident or not we would like to speak to them,” DCI Kearney is quoted to say by UK Sun.
Llanfairpwell FC annouced that on April 5, 2017 they will hold a minutes of silence before their game against Cameas Bay.
The footballer remembered by his colleagues and teammates as a “respected young man”.
