Tyson Fury’s ‘cousin’ bags 27-year sentence for rape

David Overton, also known as David Fury-Walsh, 31, was sentenced to 27 years in prison for rape after pretending to be Tyson Fury's cousin.

"Initially, David saw himself as a character inspired by The Wolf of Wall Street, but then he created this new Fury character," one of the victims said in a statement to Chester Crown Court.

"What this man has put me through is by far the worst thing I have ever gone through. I was used for my money so that he could fulfill some sick, twisted fantasy.

"The bruises may fade but the psychological scars never will. Even when I'm sleeping, he towers over me."

He was convicted of 25 counts, including 13 counts of rape, four counts of sexual assault, three counts of controlling and coercive behavior, three counts of actual bodily harm, one count of sexual touching, and possession of a knife, according to the Daily Mail.

He will be on license until 2056 after his release from prison.
