Iwobi’s sister graduates from University of Leicester with first class in maths and actuarial science

SUPER Eagles playmaker Alex Iwobi’s sister Marie has done their family immensely proud by graduating from University of Leicester with a first class degree in Maths with Actuarial Science.

After helping Nigeria win the bronze medal at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, the Iwobis are celebrating another major win as Marie, added another laurel to the family trophy with her degree. Alex’s father Chuka, took to his Facebook to write: ”So many reasons to thank the Lord as my daughter Marie made a First Class in Maths with Actuarial Science.”

This comes as Alex returned from a highly successful African Cup of Nations in Egypt, where he not only won the bronze medal but also scored the winner during the Nigeria’s 3-2 Round of 16 victory over Cameroon. He appeared to be the one who made the Eagles tick in Egypt 2019 and this fact has not been lost on Arsenal fans, who now want to see him show such form for the club.

One Arsenal fan said: “A great game for Nigeria and I just wonder whether this is the same Iwobi that plays for Arsenal or did they do some ritual for him before the game. I need the Iwobi of Nigeria to play like this for Arsenal please,”

Another added: “Iwobi plays better for Nigeria than he does for Arsenal. The Iwobi playing for Nigeria is not the same guy that plays for Arsenal.

“Nigeria definitely has the best 10 on the continent as Iwobi is elite. I need the Iwobi of Nigeria to play like this for Arsenal please.”
