SUPER Eagles winger Victor Moses has joined up with his Chelsea team mates and been introduced to the Stamford Bridge faithful after finalising a deal with the West London Club which brings a final end to his three-month transfer sage.
Moses, 21, was introduced to the Chelsea fans yesterday just before their home game against Newcastle which they won 2-0. Holding his shirt aloft, Moses received a rapturous response from the fans who look forward to seeing his mazy runs in Chelsea colours.
It is not yet clear what number he will wear and Chelsea are keeping mum about the duration of his contract. All the club has said is: “Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Victor Moses from Wigan Athletic.”
However, it is believed that Moses will earn about £40,000 a week under the terms of the deal that will see Wigan Athletic receive a £9m transfer fee. Moses is believed to have been brought in to replace Flourent Malouda, 32, the French winger, who looks set to leave the club.
