Justice Nnamdi Dimgba of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has commanded that eight individuals charged of performing acts of terrorism and pertaining to a terrorist group be remanded in Suleja Prison until September 20, 2017 when the case would come up for session.
The suspects, Mukau Mohammed, Abdulmumuni Idris, Abdullahi Maigari, Ismaila Ibrahim, Ibrahim Mohammed Madaki Mamman, Abu Sani and Umar Abdullahi were captured in October 2016.
The suspects are facing three-count charge relating in violence and coming from a terrorist group.
According to Malik Taiwo, prosecuting counsel, they reportedly assaulted Natako, a village in Lokoja, with refined weapons and murdered Ibrahim Abubakar, the chairman, Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Kogi Chapter.
The charged read to the suspects in Hausa pleaded not guilty.
