Engr Sanusi Abdufari who is the newly elected President of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria(IPMAN) assured Nigerians that there would be no fuel crises under his watch.
Abdufari stated this in an interview with the newsmen shortly after he was honoured in Katsina state by the officials of the association on his recent election.
He also said that he would do his best to ensure the availability of petroleum products in every nook and cranny of the country.
He said that his four-year tenure would ensure that the federal government does not jerk up prices of petroleum products. He also said that the association was working to bring harmony within IPMAN and reconcile all factions with a view to moving it forward.
“We are not unaware of challenges facing us as officials of IPMAN; we need prayers to address these challenges” said Abdufari.
Earlier, Hamza Abdulaziz who is the chairman of the association in the state said that the recent election of the new president was a blessing to its members.
Abdulaziz said IPMAN in the state would work with the new president to bring positive change within the association.
