MADAGASCAR – Government officials are fighting to hold universal spread of deadly outbreak of plague that’s been wreaking destruction in the country since late August.

The World Health Organization reports that most cases of plague typically starts between September and April, but the present plague outbreak is proclaimed to have started even earlier and has hit in major cities like Antananarivo and Toamasina.
Larger number of the affirmed illnesses are said to include Pneumonic plague cases, which can infect other persons through air when an infected person coughs, sneezes and if there is no medical attention, it may cause death.
